Reduce Your Lab's Footprint—Without Compromising Your Science

We help institutions, universities and companies with practical protocols and proven strategies to make your laboratories more sustainable. As we are scientists ourselves, we know how while saving you time, cutting cost and making data acquisition more robust.

The environmental impact of research is real. Practical solutions have been missing — until now.

Great Science Shouldn't Cost the Planet

Hidden Waste

Every year, a single researcher generates up to 950 kg of plastic waste. Most of it is used once—and discarded without alternatives being evaluated.

Energy & Emissions

Molecular simulations and lab equipment consume vast amounts of energy, producing several kilograms of CO₂ equivalents per experiment.

Inefficient Lab Operations

Freezers, incubators, and devices often run around the clock, even when full capacity isn’t required—wasting energy without improving results.

A solution built by scientists — for real lab conditions.

Sustainability That Serves Your Science

We optimize your actual research protocols — from pipetting strategies to HPLC settings. No generic green tips. Just smarter workflows that cut waste where it matters most.

Every recommendation is validated in real research environments. Your data quality stays intact — or improves. We never compromise your science for sustainability.

Labs using our approach have reduced plastic waste by up to 65% while maintaining sterile conditions. No expensive alternatives — just measurable impact through smarter protocols.

Sustainability That Serves Your Science

I started ReAdvance because I saw the same problem in every lab I worked in: tons of plastic waste, equipment running 24/7, and no one with the time or tools to change it. So I built exactly what I wished I had — a system of practical, validated protocols that reduce your lab’s footprint without touching your data quality. Every recommendation I give has been tested in real research environments, including my own.

About

Built by Scientists. Driven by Impact.

I’m Patrick — a former neuroimmunologist who turned his passion for sustainable science into a mission. I studied in Germany and Canada and spent years conducting research at the bench. Early in my career, I started optimizing my own protocols for sustainability — and I never stopped. Today, I help laboratories worldwide reduce their environmental footprint through smarter workflows, free resources, and a growing community of 1,400+ researchers. Whether through our annual summit, workshops, or hands-on advisory — my approach is always the same: practical, science-first, and built for real lab conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most of my recommendations take minutes to implement, not hours. The weekly newsletter is a 5-minute read, and many protocol changes are one-time adjustments. In fact, most researchers end up saving time because their workflows become more efficient.

Never. Every recommendation is validated in real laboratory conditions — including my own. I'm a scientist, so I know that data quality is non-negotiable. Most protocol changes actually improve reproducibility and consistency.

Most sustainable practices cost nothing. They typically reduce your lab's expenses. Our educational resources are completely free, and our consulting pays for itself through measurable cost savings — some labs save over $2,000 per month.

I've been there. That's why my resources include communication templates, ROI calculations, and strategies specifically designed to get buy-in from skeptical PIs and colleagues. Lead with the data — it usually speaks for itself.

My core expertise is in life sciences, but many of the principles — energy optimization, waste reduction, smarter procurement — apply across disciplines. If you're unsure, book a free call and we'll figure it out together.

I don't give generic green tips. I optimize your actual research protocols — pipetting strategies, HPLC settings, microscopy parameters. Everything is process-specific, science-first, and tested in real labs across 50+ countries.
